Anti-Cheat Circumvention Statement

Last updated August 21, 2026

Statement

Lonely software is external software. It does not attach to, inject into, read from or write to the memory of any third party game or anti-cheat process. It does not disable, remove, spoof, patch, hook, emulate or otherwise interfere with any anti-cheat, anti-tamper or digital rights management technology, including kernel level protections.

Because our software never accesses a protected work or a protected process, it does not "circumvent a technological measure" within the meaning of Section 1201 of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act or equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions. It is analogous to screen-reading and input-automation tooling that operates purely at the operating system level.

Any third party claim that Lonely software defeats or bypasses an anti-cheat system is factually incorrect. We will vigorously contest any such allegation and we reserve all rights against parties who publish false statements of this kind.

User responsibility

Whether the use of external software is permitted within a particular game is governed by that game's own terms of service, which are a private contract between the player and the game operator. Users are solely responsible for their own compliance with agreements they have entered into with third parties. Lonely is not a party to those agreements and accepts no responsibility for their enforcement outcomes, including account suspensions.
